Woodlark new downtown pet-friendly hotel in Portland


Founded in 2017 by Naomi Pomeroy, a James Beard Foundation Award winner for Best Chef Northwest, and Kyle Linden Webster, with Bianca Love as the shop manager and lead designer, Colibri is a custom floral design studio, plant store, and event space in NE Portland. At Woodlark, Colibri has transformed part of the lobby into a flower shop with custom flower arrangements in brass casings for guests and locals alike to pop-in and purchase. Colibri’s lovingly imagined floral creations trickle far beyond the lobby as Woodlark’s presiding vendor for everything from event arrangements to full-scale floral production for gatherings within the House of Welcome.

Smith Teamaker

Every guest room features teas from Steven Smith Teamaker Company. The late Steven Smith, born and raised in Portland, made a name for himself in the tea world as a tea shaman, cultivating a rich understanding of teas. In 2009, he and his wife Kim founded their own company, creating unique blends of teas sourced from partners throughout Asia and Africa. Today, his company lives on as his legacy, and one of the finest tea companies on the West Coast.

Woodblock Chocolate

Wife and husband duo, Jessica and Charley Wheelock, established Woodblock Chocolate Manufactory in 2011, a bean-to-bar chocolate making facility located in NE Portland. At Woodlark, Woodblock Chocolate created custom wrapped chocolate bars for the in-room Honor Bar in each guest room.

Good Coffee

Founded in 2014 by sibling partners Sam and Nick Purvis, Good Coffee serves up an exceptionally good cup of coffee, hospitality and a desire to create delight. Opening their first downtown location behind the lobby counter at Woodlark, Good Coffee serves a selection of roasted coffees, house-made pastries and Texas-style Kolaches.
